Position Summary

The Account Executive of Corporate, Incentive & Charter Sales serves as the day-to-day contact for the client post-sale and will oversee the coordination of

various full ship charters and escort large corporate programs. This position serves as the liaison between the client, internal teams and department heads onboard to ensure flawless execution of the program while providing exceptional customer service to help create more repeat business for the company.

Career Snapshot

Advises the dedicated Trade Support & Services (TS&S) Charter team of each new charter program and provides information on the financial and administrative components.

Plans and coordinates customized events, special onboard programming and entertainment, unique food & beverage requests, production requirements, excursions, and custom itineraries, and other items that may be consistent with the parameters of the client‘s charter agreement.

Liaises internally to obtain approval for any deviation from the standard cruise experience and presents costs to client.

Maintains a day-by-day grid of customized daily activities & events and works with the shipboard management team and the client to create customized Cruise Compass daily programs.

Escorts day visits and site sailings.

Manages VIP arrangements and special requests for the charter program and site inspections.

Creates and distributes Operational Plans for each charter to the shipboard management team, shore side colleagues and the client.

Manages the post-sailing review process by compiling shipboard voyage reports, onboard revenue reports, rating and guest comment reports. Responsible for the delivery of a complete Lessons Learned document to be discussed at a Post Sailing Review meeting and used as the basis for improved performance from program to program.

Escorts Corporate program acting as the main contact onboard to ensure delivery of a flawless program which results in repeat business for the company.

Approximately 30 days prior to sailing, contact CSM and SPA to discuss the program and review Amenities Report Between 30 and 14 days prior to sailing, do intro call with the client, CSM and SPA.

Oversee the execution of the entire onboard program.

Help facilitate special requests/requirements by working with the appropriate department heads.

Assist Onboard Group Coordinator with any issues that arise and ensure our team members onboard have correct information regarding function space for all events.

Advance meeting and receptions. Always be visible to the client at each function.

Assist with VIP requests or special needs (if required).

Provide updates to CSM and SPA during sailing and provide program summary post sailing.

Responsible for generating scheduled payment reminders, Pre / Post-Sailing Statements of Account and for insuring that payments due are collected as per contracted terms.

Participate in conversation with client and Chief Purser on Master Accounts so charges and cabin credits are posted correctly.

Requirements

Be able to travel extensively. Job requires approximately 40% travel.

Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.

Highly effective communication skills.

Ability to perform in a fast pace, diverse environment with focus on customer service.

Ability to develop strong relationships with ship and shore side departments.

Bachelor‘s Degree preferred.

Shipboard operational experience preferred.

Strong follow-up and problem solving skills are crucial.

Proven management skills.

3 – 5 years of experience in meeting industry preferred.
