Crossroads School, in Natick, MA is a private, nonprofit school dedicated to transforming the lives of children with autism using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. We are currently seeking to hire an ABA Counselor responsible for running the programs used to achieve the goals and objectives outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Behavior Management Guidelines (BMGs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). The ABA Counselor also serves as the Case Manager for 1 to 3 students.

Personal independence for each individual with a disorder is achieved through an educational partnership between school, community, and family. Crossroads places a strong emphasis on family involvement in the development of school programming as well as active support and contribution to families success after school hours.

Responsibilities:
Implement one-to-one and small group instruction for students according to staff/student schedule.
Record skills acquisition data, behavior data, and other data as specified in the IEP and BIP.
Maintains case students program book, electronic files and paper files per guidelines.
Prepares for, participates in, and documents Student Day meetings and Case Supervision meetings.
Summarize daily skill acquisition data and other data as assigned by the teacher.
Graphs behavior and/or other data prescribed by the teacher.
Assists teacher in curriculum development and program modifications.
Update teaching staff on progress, program changes and student day issues for their case student using team communication system.
Communicates programmatic or parent concerns immediately to the teacher. Communicates with case students family daily through home communication logs.
Conducts and documents assessments and analyses as requested by the teacher.

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Education, Behavior Analysis, or related field preferred.
Experience working with children with autism and related disabilities preferred.
Must have good organizational skills coupled with interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, eager to learn new skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office products, punctuality, compassion, ability to prioritize and multitask, and maintain strict confidentiality of information.
