A/R Chargeback Specialist

Global Distribution and Manufacturing company located in Bushwick is looking to hire a seasoned A/R and Chargeback Specialist to begin immediately.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 3 years Account Receivable and Collection experience who will take full ownership of the A/R & Collection position.

Applicant will be responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner.

The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator, both via email and over the phone.

• Make daily collection calls
• Conduct account research and analysis
• Prepare and maintain various reports
• Maintain an accurate aging report
• Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
• Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
• Investigate & dispute logistic & EDI related compliance chargebacks
• File claim disputes and follow up on repayments
• Document claims status
• Data entry
• Validating claims against promotions
• Researching and resolving pricing and/or quantity discrepancies
• Knowledge with the routing process with the major retailers is a must
• Vendor compliance experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
