We are a premier financial communications firm looking for enthusiastic, well-spoken individuals to fill our CSR position within our Brooklyn Communications Center. Applicants must be professional, focused and thrive within a fast paced work environment. These positions require excellent communications skills, reading skills as well as the ability to adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining high service levels. Our facility is conveniently located in central Brooklyn bordering Bay Ridge and Sunset Park. Our Address is 140 58th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11220. We are walking distance from the N and R transit lines, as well as the B9, B11, and B37 Bus lines. We are also centrally located to the B.Q.E. and Belt Parkway. Ferry is also available, located at 58th street, past the intersection with First Avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. > Rockaway Ferry to Pier 11-Wall Street and East 34-35th Streets.

Job Duties:

• Answer incoming requests in a friendly manner, respond to routine questions and take complaints from the general public.
• Input and/or log information received into the call center’s communications and computer equipment.
• Direct requests to the appropriate department or agency for further action.
• Maintain a professional demeanor with all customers providing all services with courtesy and patience by gathering information, creating work orders, dispatching work to specific departments, responding to routine questions, and taking and reporting complaints from the customer.
• Assist with other Call Center duties, such as emergency operations, special projects, and training responsibilities or other similar tasks.

General Qualifications:

• Two years previous customer service experience (preferably in a call center environment).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have proficient reading skills.
• Must be able to work in a structured, fast-paced, & time critical environment.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday including weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
• Speak fluently, clearly and ability to deliver verbal communications in a professional manner.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
