This is a college internship program that would span 10 weeks and give the interns a well-rounded experience of Economic Sanctions, Enterprise Financial Crimes (EFCC) and related Business Line functions. The interns would gain experience in the following functional areas of Economic Sanctions: Advisory, Program Management, Adjudication, Business Analysis and Training. In the last two weeks of the internship, the intern will do a capstone project to summarize their experience and create a program for cross-training opportunities.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop an understanding of Economic Sanctions compliance and regulatory risk at the 5th largest bank in the U.S
  • Assist in various tasks and projects within the Economic Sanctions department to develop an understanding of domestic and international sanctions compliance
  • Contribute in the following Economic Sanctions functional areas: Advisory, Program Management, Adjudication, Business Analysis and Training
  • Work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment where the intern will assist with business process improvement opportunities and develop project management skills
  • Support additional projects and management reporting assignments as required

Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing an Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration with a major in Management, Economics, Finance, Statistics or Analytics. Expected graduation date 2019.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and present to a senior level audience
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent GPA
  • Focused on a career in Banking, Compliance, Law and/or Risk Management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
