­­­­­SAP Functional Analyst- Supply Chain

A vacancy has arisen for a SAP SCM Functional Lead at Glanbia Business Services in Twin Falls, Idaho . This position will report to the US Service Delivery Manager (Glanbia Nutritionals).

This role provides SAP SCM support for US Glanbia Nutritionals through development of business processes, training and continuous improvements projects. Works closely with the Glanbia Business Services development team to recommend and implement any SAP changes, enhancements and process improvements.

Key elements of the role

  • Provide first point of contact support for Glanbia Nutritionals for SAP Supply Chain function which includes:
  • Troubleshooting
  • Process Monitoring
  • Early Detection of Issues
  • Supporting the interface environment between SAP and the non-SAP environments
    • Develop, provide and maintain business process and procedure documentation
    • Provide training to end-users for the Supply Chain functions
    • Identify potential SAP changes and coordinate the Change Request Process:
  • Recognize new enhancements which would become Change Requests or Projects
  • Translate customer needs into business requirements
  • Provide business requirements for Change Requests
  • Work with the GBS development team on defining and testing the end solution
  • Sign-off on the development on behalf of Glanbia Nutritionals
  • Create and provide business process procedures
    • Act as the business Unit expert for Supply Chain Master Data
    • Participate in projects as needed:
  • Participate in mini projects in Supply Chain
  • Business Process Procedure Definition
  • End-user training
    • Be capable of performing the Business Roles within Supply Chain.

    Requirements for the role

    Qualifications

    • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or 2-3 years business related experience in Supply Chain.

    Skills & experience

    • Knowledge of Supply Chain functions which includes sales, warehousing, scanning, service level adherence, CRM and logistics.
    • Understands the Global Ingredients business operations.
    • Understands how SAP is configured within Supply Chain for Glanbia Nutritionals
    • Strong problem solving skills.
    • Ability to clearly communicate (written, verbal and presentation) with all levels of management and users.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
    • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
    • Commercially focused, high levels of enthusiasm and energy
    • The capability to build strong rapport with customer groups

    Travel

    • Minimal travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air
