Position Overview:

Senior Developers build and create functionality by understanding how the application works. Our primary application is a Xamarin native based Mobile application utilized by the store associates throughout the company. As a senior developer, you would be responsible for developing / maintaining the code in Xamarin, interacting with APIs for data manipulation, and create/maintaining .net core web APIs for the mobile app to serve as a client.

KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Enhance and maintain our Mobile PRO application which is used by over 3000 employees at 500+ locations.
  • Triage open tickets to appropriately assign to developers
  • Gather enhancement requirements and feedback from subject matter experts.
  • Support business units and suggest enhancements which will make them more productive.
  • Leads the development and may manage a project plan and schedule for a given functional area.
  • Engages in expanded contact with varied and multiple departments and functional operations: actively participating in strategic business relationships and/or issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Skills We Are Seeking::

  • Degree in an IT discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 4 years of applications development experience in the Microsoft environment including design, coding, testing, and implementation.
  • Developed in Xamarin Classic Android for at least 2 years. (We currently use Xamarin 28.0.0.3 on Android 9.)
  • Experience with MVVM Cross (Version 7 library)
  • Experience doing Native Android development
  • Prior usage of AirWatch (Version: 20.10.0.3)
  • Understanding of Azure, DevOps2020 and GIT

  • Preferred Skills

  • JIRA
  • Ability to create SQL Stored Procedures & queries
  • Ability to create APIs via .Net Core
  • Xamarin forms
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation
  • Experience with or understanding of the Supply Chain business functions.
