Department Overview
The 9-1-1 Call Handling business is made up of two key segments, Emergency Call Routing and Emergency Call Taking. Emergency Call Routing is the next generation IP network combined with software that allows transport of an emergency call, text, video or IOT alert to the correct public safety answering point using geospatial routing. Emergency Call Taking software then presents the call, text, video or IOT alert to a call taker for triage and dispatch of a response. Additional supplemental data – such as real time location of the caller or emergency health profile data can also be displayed to help drive better outcomes.

Job Description

We are seeking two talented, motivated Test Analysts to join our rapidly growing Next Generation 911 (NG911) team. You will be tasked with running test plans and exploring our software looking for problems within it, making suggested changes, and documenting the process. No software or technical experience required, and we are open to any majors provided you’re interested in working for a company that is producing technology that saves people’s lives.

Use the latest revisions of cloud 9-1-1 software and insure they meet functional design requirements and intuitive modern usability.

High proficiency with browser based software.

Detail oriented and clear communication skills including both verbal and written collaboration.

Ability to adjust to changing procedures and priorities as new revisions of software are created.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced Agile development environment

Comfortable learning and maintaining a test plan consisting of defined and exploratory steps.

Basic Requirements

Currently in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program graduating May 2021 or later
