Textio is growing fast, and we’re looking for a creative, passionate Visual Designer to join our team in Seattle.

We’re searching for a skilled design artisan who will collaborate across disciplines at Textio to turn raw content and concepts into elegant, inspiring, and sophisticated stories and experiences. We need someone who can work closely with people from our product team, our marketing team, and our customer success team to further develop and consistently deliver a visual brand language that is uniquely Textio.

• Your portfolio demonstrates a track record of thoughtful, expressive, and high-quality visual design.
• You’re committed to quality and have an obsessive attention to detail—you pay attention to everything you make, and take personal pride in it.
• You know how to effectively communicate complex information through clear and concise design solutions.
• You adeptly combine imagery, iconography, typography, color, composition, data, and motion in delightful ways to achieve usability, product, marketing, and customer success goals.
• You’re fluent in industry standard tools, (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and the evolving landscape of technology, resources, and trends that help generate, evaluate, and communicate your designs and ideas effectively.
• You have experience creating design documentation, including product specifications, templates, and style guidelines.
• You work fast under pressure and push yourself to generate a broad range of viable alternatives for evaluation.
• You maturely give and accept critique, working openly and staying flexible enough to incorporate constructive feedback from fellow designers and other partners.
• You thrive in a collaborative professional environment with group schedules, company goals, and resource constraints.
• You’re self-motivated and able to execute and deliver on multiple concurrent projects.
• You inspire the people around you with your thoughtful creativity and passion for visual storytelling.
• You love learning and constantly seek new tools and skills which will make you a better designer.
• You have a point of view but are low ego.
