This candidate will join MITRE’s Visitor Management team, supporting the high annual flow of visitors to MITRE for numerous meetings, conferences, and events.

In additional to a generalist role supporting meetings and conferences across the board, this candidate will take a lead role managing incoming visitor requests for tenants, contractors, subcontractors and foreign nationals.
This candidate will use various online security automated systems to verify security clearances and ensure positive control is maintained for visitors.
MA: Bedford Campus
Strong experience with visitor management, personnel clearance management, administration, and security support.
Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with Office suite, Adobe, and administrative tools.
Ability to quickly acquire new skills with great attention to detail and procedural correctness.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage an extensive array of responsibilities with minimal supervision while also working well as a team player with other staff on shared responsibilities.
Strong administrative support experience.
Past experience working in the visitor management office of a government or government contractor/NISPOM compliant organization.
Past experience as a meeting coordinator
Minimum Education/ Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of experience or the equivalent in job-relevant work experience
*This position will require overnight travel up to 10 % of the time as well as some local travel.
