Conduct data acquisition in Rides and Attractions using low voltage transducers and appropriate data acquisition systems.
Coordinate testing with internal clients including test scheduling, equipment preparation, and manpower.
Oversee reports to ensure a high level of quality and timeliness is maintained.
Ensure all testing complies with existing standards and specifications.
Travel domestically and internationally to support instrumented testing at other parks and resorts.
Interface directly with customers concerning deadlines, job status, and budgets.
Proven experience with low voltage electronic design or fabrication
Proven experience testing complex electro-mechanical systems
Proven experience in machine assembly
General skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Available for 2nd and 3rd shift work as required by test plans.
Proven ability to operate data acquisition tools including strain gage, force, temperature, speed, and pressure measurements.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and MatLab
Associate’s degree or equivalent technical education

This posting is for Design and Engineering Instrumentation Department. The primary mission of the team is to perform instrumented testing of rides and attractions to validate design parameters and performance. This is a hands on job requiring the ability to creatively think through problems and design and implement solutions using practical and proven principles and methods. Successful candidates usually have experience in electronics or automotive repair and a desire to fabricate and modify.
