Sr. Director, Solutions Business Development

Overview:
Canon Solutions America is a Canon U. S. A. Company providing integrated systems technology that comprise of one of the strongest solutions portfolios in the document management industry. The Sr. Director, Solutions Business Development will be responsible for building solutions best practices, developing solutions business, driving analysis of a customer’s existing technical business, and supporting the internal Solutions Analysts and Sales Teams in the arena of specific sales prospect identification and advancement. Responsibilities:

• Leverage expertise in technology, IT systems and prior customer experience to architect optimized solutions for customer problems consisting of hardware, software and services based on customer requirements
• Gather and build best practices of solutions application by vertical and horizontal markets
• Analyze internal databases and external trends to identify strong prospects led by field Solutions Analysts and Salespeople
• Manage database cleansing to ensure values are up to date
• Lead data collection activities to identify and promote prospects
• Research solution pack specific directions and then provides written supporting collateral for use internally and externally for customers
• Provide internal champion by ensuring all knowledge is documented and shared which can then be used for external marketing promotions
• Work closely with members of internal analysts, marketing, sales organization and sales teams
• Manage expenses, supports escalations and reports on weekly activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree plus at least 12 years relevant experience required
• Background in IT related technologies including networking, operating systems, business application design, network management, security, and cloud and mobile application platforms
• CDIA+ and Project+ strongly desired
• Travel exceeding 50% required (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record necessary) including overnights nationwide
