Software Developer, Senior
The Charleston Digital Hub of Booz Allen Hamilton, is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Software Developer in the Charleston, SC area.

The Charleston Digital Hub operates and executes much like a fast-paced software development startup within the larger organization. Software developers at the Charleston Digital Hub work within a dedicated and talented team to create impactful solutions that solve real-world problems. We specialize in architecting and building large-scale enterprise applications for government and commercial clients. Our engineers have experience in a wide-range of technologies and languages, but we are particularly interested in the following:

-Object-Oriented software design

-Enterprise web application development

-REST, SOAP, and SOA architecture

-Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, SQL, RDBMS

What You Need:

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Must live in the Charleston, SC area or be willing to relocate

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

-5+ years of experience with Java web development

-5+ years of experience with service orientated concepts and enabling technologies

-Software development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment and support

What Would Be Nice:

-Agile software development experience

-Experience working with one or more of the following; Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat, Oracle DB, Docker, Linux, Amazon Web Services

-Experience integrating with and/or developing web services using WS-Security standards

-Experience integrating with and/or developing web services using OAuth standards
