Social Media Coordinator




Job Summary

100HQ, a creative marketing agency is seeking an experienced social media coordinator.

Our ideal candidate is obsessed with storytelling, technology, and the latest social media trends. They will know how to provide administrative support and coordination to the team with daily operations and implementation of marketing projects and campaigns on social channels, ensuring creative and communications reflect client brands and businesses accurately. Someone who can take a boring idea and make it interesting through light graphic work and/or simple photo editing or cropping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the social media content calendar and track creative briefs for content and campaign assets
  • Schedule daily content on all social media channels
  • Work with the creative team, photo team, and video team to create exciting content for all social media channels
  • Responsible for the social media campaigns and content reporting and tracking
  • Partner with copywriting team and brand managers to ensure all external communications and copy are on brand
  • Coordinate and execute contests prizing and fulfillment
  • Manage user-generated content; gain user approvals, approve and schedule posts
  • Brainstorm new and creative ways to amplify content and increase engagement
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with bloggers and other digital influencers
  • Track and analyze influencer posts and report on performance
  • Monitor and actively manage social platforms; engage in commentary and messaging.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or equivalent.
  • At least one-year prior marketing, social media experience or combined internships strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign preferred
  • An eye for photography
  • Experience in the use and navigation of Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Snapchat
  • Creative by nature
  • Prior experience with blogging or running social media for other brands preferred
  • Illustrates a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, give and receive honest, direct feedback
  • Strong ability to multi-task and seamlessly move from project to project
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and demonstrated knowledge and proven ability to identify marketing opportunities
  • Meets deadlines, prioritize appropriately, copes well with change and maintains composure under pressure
  • Experience managing ads on paid social channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Real-time and evolving knowledge of social marketing best practices
  • Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills
  • Experience with project management tools




Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year
