Position Summary

ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for core system configuration. Gathering and documenting user and process requirements, functional requirements, and developing technical requirements. Developing workflow customizations and supporting the Service transformation teams.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties (may include, but are not limited to
Design, develop, test and install custom built applications using ServiceNow studio.

  • Software Asset Management / ITAM

  • Agile Planning module
  • SLA integration into help desk ticketing
  • ITSM

  • Experience building out a ServiceNow service/customer portal
  • Experience with API integrations with ServiceNow
  • Creating custom workflows utilizing ServiceNow Orchestration.
  • Build and maintain catalog items for the service portal.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to discover and fix issues with new and existing code and applications.
  • Providing feedback to stakeholders on ways to improve and innovate current applications.
  • Use REST API to pull data into ServiceNow to generate events, alerts and incidents and other data.
  • Actively participate in daily scrum meetings and regular sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
  • Guide junior and senior developers in best practices for writing code, creating catalog items, creating workflows, and following the ITIL framework.
  • Continuously configuring and maintaining the ServiceNow instance to ensure consistency and availability of the platform to minimize downtime
  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience
    Experience with spinning up, maintaining, and releasing code to multiple ServiceNow environments (dev/test/prod)

  • Communicating with the project manager to prioritize business needs and implementing those needs into our sprint planning meetings.
  • Working with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5 for responsive design.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Worked with the current ServiceNow “Paris”
  • Developed documentation that clearly articulates solutions.
  • Create catalog items and maintained the service portal.
  • Worked with javascript, css, html, AJAX, GlideScript.

  • Created custom applications and custom workflows.
  • Implementation of ITSM and Change Management modules.
  • Maintained all user accounts and administrative duties.
  • Worked with department stakeholders to develop critical custom applications to improve work efficiency
  • Experience integrating new modules to increase ServiceNow functionality
  • Comfortable working with other devs to come up with custom solutions to issues and integrations
