Project Manager

In this position you will be responsible for managing and /or leading projects of various sizes and complexity to successful completion including but not limited to marshaling all necessary resources regardless of organizational or demographic boundaries, developing and driving a project schedule, status reporting, communication, planning, approval process, change management, value tracking and stakeholder management.

Utilize Project Management skills and HSB methodologies to deliver defined projects on time and within budget to meet business needs.

Manage the following activities: development of idea/business case, process for estimating/feasibility, all project plan activities including risk identification, budget definition, scope and status. Facilitate and lead meetings and obtain stakeholder approval.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Business or Finance or other related field.

Desired: Graduate degree.

Work Experience:

Required: 7+ years of IT project management experience in a corporate setting.

Desired: IT PM experience I P&C insurance industry.

Certifications/Designations/Specialized Training/Licenses:

Required: Waterfall or Agile methodology expertise.

Desired: PMP certification.

Technical Skills:

Required: Proficient in key project management activities including project charter/scope, Work Breakdown Structure, scope change control, cost estimation/budgeting, risk identification. Proficiency in MS Project.

Desired: Organizational change management, procurement management.

Non-Technical Skills:

Required: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, presentation skills and mentoring/coaching.

Other:

Required: Travel may be required 10%.
