Junior Developer

The Developer will be part of a team utilizing your technical experience, you will work in a service-oriented environment where you will build and deliver production web solutions.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy new web sites and web solutions using the latest .NET and web technologies.
• Utilize technologies and languages including .NET, ASP.NET and C#
• Maintaining and upgrading existing .NET solutions.
• Accountable for ensuring that all work is completed on time, on budget, and meeting or exceeding expected quality standards.
• Work with other teams including strategy, design, and project managers to implement best solution for clients.
• Develop and build web sites using the Kentico CMS using both portal and template technologies.
• Accurately quote and estimate work.
• Transparently report status of project tasks, to avoid late surprise and enable team support.
• Effectively communicate complex technical issues to non-technical team members
• Quickly learn new technologies to support new projects and services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience relevant to Computer Science.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• A solid understanding and experience with object oriented programming concepts.
• Proficiency with .NET, C#, and ASP.NET
• Proficiency in database design and development using SQL server.
• Understanding of web security best practices and how to implement in .NET
• Experience building production web applications using jQuery, Ajax, JSON, HTML5, CSS and other modern web technologies.

Plus:

Experience with Kentico CMS a plus

Experience with Kentico EMS a plus

Experience with Web Services and/or WCF (SOAP/REST/WEB API) a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 /year
