Jr. Fund Services Specialist (Entry Level)

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include, but not Limited to :

• Under manager direction and guidance this role will:
  • Serve as a point of contact for outsourced vendor and affiliate relationships.
  • Complete audits and identify and define operations issues and risks, and coordinate appropriate course of action in agreement with senior members of the team.
  • Assist with any International inquiries.
  • Work closely with various affiliates to understand and support their requirements, requests, inquiries and initiatives.
  • Participate in various fund related projects.
  • Troubleshoot and solve questions/problems/issues.
  • Prepare materials and key metrics to periodically report to management.
  • Participate in firm and departmental Compete to Win initiatives in an effort to improve and streamline processes.
  • Assist with Dealer inquiries via the Dealer Services in-box.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or Business Administration required (by June 2017)
• MBA a plus
• 1-2 years of experience in finance (specifically Transfer Agency or Broker Dealer Operations) preferred
• Strong technical acumen –
• Knowledge of report writing systems such as MS Access, Business Objects, Crystal reports, etc.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Access
• Ability to analyze data files and report writing
• Detail-oriented, strong organization skills and takes initiative
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and client management skills
• Ability to take direction & multi-task; ability to pivot from one task to another seamlessly
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners
• Motivated and proactive
• Embraces change and works well as part of a team
• Available for travel, if needed
