Jr. Business Analyst

We are looking for a Jr. Business Analyst to join our team in White Plains, NY. The requirements are below. For immediate consideration, a resume must be submitted.

Business Analysis

  • Perform bid success evaluation and tracking
  • Insure maintenance of all competitive data
  • Assist in Modeling for New BD Opportunities
  • Assist in creating annual budget for Generic Rx
  • Monitor compendium information changes
  • Perform evaluations for third party chargeback data to determine prospective issues and opportunities
  • Review customer purchasing compliance and address with Sales
  • Review profitability report before sharing with Analysts and Management
  • Review and provide guidance for Customer / Product level profitability
  • Evaluate pricing on Est. vs Actual after fin. Adj.
  • Propose correcting actions
  • Pricing analysis – evaluate pricing requests and new opportunities by using multiple resource tools (Internal systems, IMS, communication with sales reps)
  • Contract Preparation – Updating existing contracts with new policies and creating new contracts for new customers.
  • Daily Sales Report – Update daily sales report for senior management to highlight monthly performance and sales/units trends vs budget
  • New business opportunities – Identify product opportunities where the company has low market share. Identify potential customers where products are not on contract.
  • Customer Performance Worksheets – Provide Sales team with customer performance worksheets on a monthly basis as an overview of customer activity vs prior period in units and dollars. Reports to be customized based on changing customer landscape. Report needs to analytically support the message the Sales team is trying to convey.
  • Market Share analysis – Compare the company to it’s competitors to understand where market share is shifting; new players in the market; Identify which products should be “go get” items on Sales calls
  • RFP Review- Analyze wins and losses from an annual RFP to understand bottom line impact. Share with P&C group to help with future pricings.
  • Communicates and works across multiple departments Legal, Finance, Logistics, Customer Service and act as the go to person for any question related to Pricing & Contracts

Pricing & Contracts:

  • Conduct key pricing analysis and assessments, including collaborating with key counterparts in sales, marketing, finance and supply chain.
  • Manage approved pricing recommendations, including analytical support, customer communications materials, and field sales communications.
  • Prepare and present pricing analysis and recommendations to the finance, sales and marketing, and pricing committee.
  • Administer product launches, price adjustments and rfp’s.
  • Follow up with NAM’s on offers sent to the customer.
  • Outline and make the necessary changes/recommendation for Terms and Conditions for Business approval.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE TO DO THE JOB:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably with a major or minor in pre-law
  • Must possess advanced excel skills
  • Must possess a minimum of intermediate word skills
  • Experience with Lotus Notes is helpful
  • Preferably, advanced ability to read and interpret contracts
  • Preferably, prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Preferably, prior experience in:

– Contract Review / Writing,

– Contract Gap identification

– Contract related financial obligation tracking management

– Pricing Modeling

– Budgeting

– BD Modeling

– Profitability Analysis

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
