Sr. Java Developer

Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

• Design and Build Enterprise platform based on Micro services Architecture
• Build infrastructure-level framework to support core Enterprise features and initiatives
• Design new services, as well as the modification of existing services in support of all facets of the business
• Work with project lead to provide technical assessment, solution proposal, and development support
• Coordinate with development, quality, product and program management, and operations teams on the delivery of releases to multiple environments
• Deliver game changing improvements within Enterprise infrastructure
• Respond to environment issues and triage tickets

Key Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of software development experience
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong object-oriented design and implementation skills
• Experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring boot
• Experience developing highly scalable, Micro services architecture, and distributed syste ms
• Significant experience developing effective APIs and RESTful , SOAP web services for internal and external consumption
• Practical experience as well as a deep understanding of service-side and middle-tier technologies is a must: middle tier frameworks, caching strategies/solutions, messaging/queuing
• Experience with SQL and relational databases and schema design
• Experience with NoSQL solutions desired
• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, kafka, logstash, kibana , Mongo DB etc.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS desired
• Leader and team motivator
• Strong oral and written communication skills including UM

Salary: $70.00 to $75.00 /hour
