IT Technician

• Install and configure all workstation applications and operating systems and supporting hardware
• Encourage and enforce compliance standards related to the employee’s utilization of IT resources
• Ensure best practices and standard build procedures are being followed when provisioning and updating systems
• Participate in on-call rotation for employee and office related issues
• Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Work with the IT Manager to purchase hardware and software for employee and office infrastructure
• Monitor bandwidth at all offices and apply QOS rules as necessary to assure reliable internet connections
• Support in the provisioning and management of file servers
• Assist with corporate initiatives that require local coordination and execution
• Manage the Active Directory deployment, and maintain best practices and high availability in the following areas
• Domain Controllers
• DHCP
• DNS
• Wifi

Who you are

• Preferred 2+ year degree in an IT area of study or related work experience
• Able to travel to our other campus locations on occasion
• Able to lift and carry computers and other equipment as necessary.
• Enjoys working in a customer focused team environment.
• Must have proficient knowledge in the following areas
• Computer hardware and software systems and programs
• Well versed in Windows ; Mac experience a plus
• Networking equipment, general network administration and network installation
• Computer troubleshooting
• Computer viruses and security
• E-mail and internet programs and cloud based applications
