ABOUT THIS POSITION

This position is on-site in Downtown Salt Lake, Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. You may be asked to work occasional nights and weekend.

The IT Support professional is responsible for providing overall technical support to local and remote network users under direct supervision of our Chief Information Office. Areas of work will include support for agency information systems, telephones, wireless, internet, servers, desktop computers, software, and security systems. Works with databases and responds to requests for other special projects. Duties may include installing or configuring software, trouble shooting technical problems, resetting log in/password information, managing daily backups, providing on site and phone-based support.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Available to work flexible hours

* Experience with Window 7, 2008R2, 2012R2 desktop and server versions.

* Active Directory and Group Policy experience

* Microsoft Office 2007/O365 skills.

* Citrix XenDesktop and remote client experience

* Ability to manage multiple projects and duties at a time.

* Able to diagnose and troubleshoot LAN and WAN issues.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Technical help desk support and customer service is a plus.

* Familiarity with Networking concepts and hardware including: DHCP, DNS, Routing, Firewalls, Managed Switches, VLAN

* Database administration experience preferred (MSSQL, MySQL, Access)

* Programming/Scripting experience preferred (HTML, PHP, Powershell)

* Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, XenServer, RDS, and VDI)

* VOIP Telephony

* Security systems (door lock, ip camera, dvr technologies)

* Must communicate technical information in a user-friendly manner

* Ability/willingness to travel occasionally to different clinics throughout Utah

* Prefer experience with NextGen EHR or other Electronic Health Records systems

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

* Education – High school diploma (or equivalent); post-high school training/education in IT-related field or equivalent experience in an IT related position preferred (1-2 years).

* Bilingual English/Spanish ability is desirable
