Internet Appointment Setter

The Peterson Auto Group is seeking qualified applicants to join our Internet Sales Department teams. The Peterson Auto Group has been serving the Treasure Valley since 1928, carries over 11 new car brands, and over 400 used vehicles. We need well organized individuals who can think outside the box, keep up with changing technology, and sell vehicles to our internet customers. We employ dedicated automotive sales consultants that prospect exclusively through internet leads and referrals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Internet Appointment Setter, you will be responding to customer inquiries via email, instant message, and phone calls. Your only goal will be to assist in customers’ vehicle purchase by setting appointments to test drive new and used vehicles. You will be trained on phone and email processes specific to the Internet Sales department. Your ability to communicate effectively, quickly, and clearly on the phone is paramount.

Similar phone experience a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have great personality on the phone – customers must hear your smile

Excellent verbal and written communications

Multitask and work at a fast pace

Type 30 WPM minimum

Computer Savvy — Microsoft Office, email, attachments

NOT REQUIRED

Car business experience

Call center experience

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

We offer a base salary plus commission pay plan based off sold appointments. Typical monthly income is in the $2500-4500 range. The Peterson Auto Group provides excellent health, dental, and vision plans.
