Beraka Real Estate Group is a principal broker and two broker associates, all licensed to sell real estate in the State of Oregon and practicing business at Think Real Estate. Our team has nearly 40 years of combined experience in the industry. Our primary focus is residential and commercial real estate sales in the urban core of Portland Metro however we branch out to some rural areas outside of Portland on a case by case basis. We are a high volume team and complete approximately 70 closed sales per year. Primary Responsibilities
Office Management and Communications

  • Manage ordering and maintenance of office equipment
  • Order and maintain inventory and office/storage area supplies including closing gifts, cards, buyer/seller books, client and agent printed materials, signing, directionals etc.
  • Communicate with clients, other agents, title, inspectors, vendors and service providers as needed for the normal course of business
  • Oversee gift management including referral gifts and closing gifts
  • Maintain Owner’s email and calendar
  • Manage the Group GSuite including Drive
  • Create and maintain Operations Manual that includes all systems and standards
  • Build and implement company wide systems including marketing, transaction coordination, client and vendor relations, database and CRM management
  • Manage internal/team communications and coordinate internal events
  • Schedule Buyer Tours
  • Marketing for Team and Listings

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of the annual company marketing calendar
  • Create listing materials including Seller’s packets, Flyers, Mail Chimp and other online marketing flyers etc
  • Transaction Coordination

  • Open Escrow on all new transactions
  • Maintain files per Think Real Estate and State of Oregon regulations utilizing Paperless Pipeline
  • Use ZipForms and Docusign to assist in transaction management
  • Schedule inspections and bids for repairs
  • Maintain and implement client to-do list for each transaction per CRM
  • Initial 90 day period will be training/shadowing transaction coordination
  • The ideal candidate will possess or quickly develop the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred AND/OR three+ years of administrative and operational experience in the real estate industry
  • Oregon Broker’s License or willingness to become licensed within 90 days of employment
  • Experience with or thorough knowledge of CRM management systems, transaction coordination, Oregon real estate contracts, vendor management (repairs, high volume scheduling), listing marketing and general real estate marketing
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced changing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Suite and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint and some experience with DocuSign, ZipForms and paperless transaction management systems
  • Experience with MAC computers
  • Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information carefully and with discretion
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, often-changing environment
  • Work Environment and Expectations
    For the foreseeable future all work is performed off site in our homes and in errands around Portland, Monday – Friday. The Brokers are off site meeting with clients and at property tours and inspections so the person in this position will need to enjoy working independently and with other staff members about 25-50% of the time. When it is safe to return to the physical office, currently located at 2601 NE Glisan Street in Portland, limited office hours will be required. The person in this position may choose to work from the office or from home until such time as the stay at home orders are entirely lifted.

    The workday often includes using a cellular phone and sitting or standing at a computer screen for extended periods. Beraka Real Estate Group will provide a laptop and a monthly stipend for cell phone expenses. Tasks may require lifting, moving, or carrying objects of about 30 pounds, such as boxes, materials, and other supplies. Frequent travel to locations inside the greater Portland metro area (requires ability to efficiently transport oneself) and occasional work outside normal business hours, such as evenings and weekends infrequently. Mileage costs will be reimbursed.

    Compensation:

  • Full-time salary (exempt) DOE $70,000/year plus opportunities for bonuses, referrals and commission
  • Benefits: Sick pay accrued per state/federal requirements from start date. 80 hours of paid time off annually beginning after 60 days of employment and accrued at a rate of 1.534 hours per 40 hours worked. Health, dental, vision & 401K benefits not available at this time.
