Full Stack Developer

We’re making healthcare better! Our diverse, creative team works together closely in a 2-week sprint cycle to plan, build, and test software that’s transforming healthcare. We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who’s excited about helping to create the future of patient care.

Overview

You’ll be on a high-performing team that’s making a difference, and we want you to enjoy it. You’ll work with really cool technologies, like: a multi-platform application architecture, asynchronous network software, advanced medical algorithms, clinical ontologies, and mobile platforms. Skills & Requirements

To do well, you’ll need the skills to understand and solve complex problems, learn new things quickly, communicate with others, and actively participate as part of an agile team. You’ll need to be able to work in web and mobile environments, and excel with a Unix tech stack.

To do that, we’re looking for someone who:

• Knows Python
• Has some familiarity with Javascript as an application language
• Is comfortable with the Linux command line
• Has used a version control system like Git/Github
• Has worked with a noSQL database (we use MongoDB)

If you’ve got them, we’d love it if you have some or all of these “nice to have” harder-to-find skills:

• Twisted
• AngularJS
• Experience with Android or iOS development

You’ll likely need a BA/BS in Computer Science, or a related field, and 2-3 years of prior coding experience, but we believe that skills are more important than training. If you’ve got strong skills, but have taken a different path, we’d love to hear from you.

Cultural fit is also critical. We’re looking for someone who won’t accept mediocrity, who is open-minded, and who actively shares their ideas. We want someone who will have fun, and who meshes well in an innovative, close-knit team.
