Front end/WordPress developer, fast-growing digital agency

The role

To start, the developer(s) we bring on will be doing front-end-heavy work, building pages to high fidelity mockups. The team writes Sass, so working knowledge of this or LESS is a must.

On top of front end styling, the developer(s) will be writing PHP or Twig inside of our custom WordPress theme, along with JavaScript and CSS transition and animation effects as needed.

For potential employees, the firm starts first with a quick skills test, followed by a paid test project, usually lasting 10 – 20 hours.

This could include bold marketing websites, eCommerce platforms, web & mobile apps, and branding. Our design style is bold, clean, vivid and exciting.

Qualifications

Must-haves

• Fluent in Sass
• Conversant in Javascript up to Array.includes()
• Fluent in vanilla PHP
• Comfortable getting familiar with a fully customized, in house WordPress theme
• Comfortable in a small, fast-moving startup environment

Big pluses

• Twig
• CSS-based animations && transitions
