Work Schedule: Generally, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however; must be able to work flexible and varied hours.

POSITION SUMMARY
Manages, plans, and implements the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Determines scope of the project. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities and monitors progress for the ERP system. The ERP Project Manager directs, plans and coordinates schedules, budgets, and deliverables for project. Monitors teams to make sure goals and objectives are being kept. Knowledge of larger landscape without neglecting granular details while tracking the overall project health, staying alert for risk and resolving issues as they arise. Maintains standards and monitors scope with project quality. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Evaluate and assess result of project at the end of each identified area in the phase.

Define and create project plan for the ERP project.

Evaluates trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk and stakeholders with business sponsors and IT business unit.

Responsible for developing a good relationship with the City team, gathers input from the team members, communicates regularly regarding the project.

Define project scope, goals and deliverables by collaboration with the City project team members.

Solve complex problems which arise in the ERP project and responsible for the outcome and finish of the project with excellent quality and on time.

Collaborate with City team members and ERP vendor to prepare an outline regarding the objectives, detailed scope, resources, timeline, and budget for each new implementation.

Participate in operational review meetings with customers to translate business needs into functional requirements and business scenarios.

Manage the effective transition of requirements to the delivery team ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.

Manage project plan, budget, and resource schedule on a weekly basis.

Prepare weekly status reports and facilitate weekly status review meeting with project sponsors, and monthly reports to Mayor and City Council.

Identify risks and formally manage risk mitigation plans in close collaboration with customer.

Facilitate quality assurance reviews with project team members and stakeholders on a regular basis and execute correction actions.

Engage with project teams to gather assets, best practices and guidance from our customers to integrate and/or improve our methodologies and end customer experience.

Allocate project resources.

Create schedule and project timeline to have assigned tasks completed.

Predict risk factors and eliminate it for successful completion of the project.

Provides needed information and demonstrations concerning how to perform certain work tasks to new employees in the same or similar class of positions.

Assumes responsibility for other duties as required or assigned.

Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or other closely related field

PMP Certification desired

Experience:
8 plus years of experience in Project Management
5+ years of ERP project management experience in core financials and operation business process such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable, Bank and Cash Management, Financial Reporting, Procurement, Inventory Management, and HR/Payroll, with various project and portfolio management tools and methodologies (MS Office including Project, SharePoint, Visio, PPM, Agile/Scrum methods, ASAP/waterfall).

Evidence of successfully managing diverse project teams.
Experience in public sector is desirable.

Computer Skills:
Ability to operate a personal computer using standard or customized software applications appropriate to assigned tasks and the ability and willingness to quickly learn and use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing information and/or technology.

FINGER DEXTERITY:
