Performance Materials and Technologies

Position Overview:
Honeywell’s PMT Early

Career Engineer Rotational Program (ECERP) was developed to provide recent

chemical and mechanical engineering graduates with the opportunity to be

exposed and trained across multiple businesses and functions. This program

provides hands-on engineering experience in project-based assignments. Our

ECERP employees rotate throughout many of Honeywell’s manufacturing facilities

and site locations for up to 36 months, while learning about site operations

and designing solutions to challenging problems. At the end of the program, the

participating employees will have the opportunity to be deployed and placed in

a dedicated role at one of our key sites.

For 2017,

Honeywell has summer internship opportunities within our Early Career Engineer

Rotational Program (ECERP) as a

Production

Engineer Intern

. These roles will expose our interns to site operations,

engineering projects, and Honeywell’s culture. In addition, our interns will be

mentored by senior engineers and work on teams to develop efficient solutions

and processes. These great internship

opportunities are available at one of our key sites in

Geismar, LA, Spokane, WA and Colonial Heights, VA.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
Must be a rising junior or senior at an accredited

University or College pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or

Mechanical Engineering

To meet Honeywell policy

standards, must be able to participate in an internship prior to

completing degree program

Must be a US citizen or permanent resident due to

project requirements

Additional Qualifications:
Interest in working hands-on in a chemical production

environment

Ability to learn processes quickly

Ability to work well with others at all organizational

levels

Ability to work in a physically challenging environment

Ability to organize and prioritize

Ability to lead and/or participate on cross functional

teams

Ability to adapt rapidly to

change and to help lead change efforts

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated academic excellence

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other

technological systems and software
