Business Analytics Specialist

Constant innovation and a customer focused mindset is the essence of the Pre-Sales and Retention team. In this data-driven and fast-paced business environment, this role will work on all aspects of the design, development, and delivery of BI and analytics to create applicable BI capability, solutions, and outputs. You will work with a range of business stakeholders to define business problems, communicate the data flow, construct the data architect, develop the data structure, and implement the BI solution.

Responsibilities

Identify business needs, link to business strategy, and understand the key business decisions that need to be made in both short-term and long-term
Manage the CSS Commercial Pre-Sales Master Data (MDM) including the processes, governance, business rules, definition, taxonomy standards and tools that consistently define and manage the critical data of an organization to provide a single point of reference.
- Build an expert level of knowledge on business processes and data flow across Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Support
- Collaborate the data stewardship across multiple functional
- Determine internal and external data sources required to satisfy the business reporting and analytics needs
- Conduct data profiling and data mining across disparate data sets, identify data synergy strategy, and deliver the data solution fit to ignite business initiatives and analytics projects
Build the technology blueprint and BI Infrastructure which is adaptable and agile to support business growth
Develop and manage production grade Data Mart and BI solution end to end – including schema design, database creation, ETL development, and front-end solution deliverables
Assist in facilitating the change management and change request with business partners and IT to support the adoption of new business processes and realization of new business value
Ensure the highest data quality and insight accuracy
Communicate data set and trend in a clear and actionable manner to business partners
Train business partners on how to most effectively consume and leverage BI insight for their decision making
Educate and support Data Scientists on meta data and BI process to assist analytics modeling variable selections, accelerate the pattern recognition, and uncover high impact business drivers

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of demonstrated BI experience spanning the full BI Stack; from defining business questions, preparing the technical specification, creating logical design (relational and star schemas), implementing ETL/Data Warehouse, governing Data quality, developing Predictive and Advanced Analytics algorithm, and designing the visualization
B.A or B.S. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, engineering, quantitative (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, data sciences), Business Management, Marketing or equivalent work experience
5+ Years of SQL, business intelligence, data warehous development
Microsoft BI stack coding including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
BI architectures, data modeling, dimensional modeling concepts
Data analysis and data mining
Hand-ons knowledge in CRM and ERP, including Revenue Assurance, Finance, Customer Relation, and Sales Force management
Business experience and advance analytics
Experience with C#
Excel, PowerBI (including PowerPivot, PowerQuery, and PowerView)
Design of Experiment in an applied business or marketing field
Aggregating online and offline data to develop cross channel insights
Advanced statistical software hands-on experience (R, SAS, , E-Miner)
