Job Description

A well-established bank in Sandton requires a Banking Assistant to be based in the Remittance department.

Salary R8000 per month

R2500 medical aid (effective after 3 month probation)
3 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Forex remittance (inward and outward)
  • Posting of payments for deals of treasury
  • Import/ export payments
  • Handling of the treasury report
  • Distributing treasury deals
  • Printing of Bill of Payments
  • Sending Proof of Payments
  • Payment of salaries in foreign currencies
  • Reconciliation and amendment of accounts
  • Administration relating to the role

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric plus a banking or financial qualification
  • Experience in a banking role in a similar environment
  • Computer literate
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must live in or close to the Rosebank area
