EFT Analytics, Inc. is looking for a Back-End Software Developer to join our team in Wichita, KS! The Software Developer would be part of a fast-growing technology start-up within a large and stable company leveraging cutting-edge technical solutions in problem/optimization solving. The Software Developer will be part of a team solving complex software problems around scalability and performance.

The successful candidate must be passionate about customer satisfaction and have a demonstrated ability to achieve extraordinary results as part of a high-energy and dynamic team. The Software Developer must have demonstrated superior follow-through and the ability to build trust and credibility by consistently delivering what customers expect. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

Design, build, and ship highly available, scalable, distributed SaaS applications
Investigate and improve system performance
Help EFT Analytics scale the software platform
Participate in design and code reviews
Troubleshoot and resolve problems/issues in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years professional experience building back-end services/components using any of the programming languages like C#, Java, Python, etc.
Experience developing using software components applying Object-Oriented designs and practices
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma and 4+ cumulative years of relevant work experience

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on high-performing systems handling large volumes of data
Experience building distributed systems leveraging micro-services architecture
Experience applying appropriate data structures and solving complex problems by delivering efficient code
Experience building message oriented systems (SQS, RabbitMQ, etc.) with stream processing platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)
Experience building cloud native solutions or experience with cloud technologies and platforms
Exposure to NoSQL technologies
Exposure to distributed cache systems (Memcache, Redis, etc.)

Additional Information:

Ability to travel for work up to 10% of the time, by plane, car, etc.
