The world’s leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for an Applicant Screening Specialist. As an Applicant Screening Specialist, you will be responsible for administrative support of the selection and placement process for the branch office. This role will maintain primary responsibility for initial quality assurance of applicant flow and will liaise with operations, admin, human resources and candidates to schedule interviews inside and outside of the ATS. Attention to detail and thorough documentation of the selection and placement process inside of the ATS is of utmost importance to this role.

Specific Duties and Essential Functions
Ensure current job opening board is updated/accurate
Create and post job advertisement via ATS
Manage and close jobs as necessary
Invite auto-matched candidates in G4S USA Career Center to apply
Contact qualified applicant flow within ATS and review documents to ensure complete application is on file
Make phone contact with candidates and schedule interviews base upon interview schedule provided by interview team
If applicant flow is not substantial, communicate with Office Manager / General Manager about expanding advertisement visibility via Vacancy Poster (e.g., Indeed, CareerBuilder, etc.)
Conduct and document outreach efforts to pull in qualified candidates from community resources
Document interview invites in ATS for both candidate and interview
Documents results of interview in the ATS
Ensure results of interview are documented within ATS
Upload FM-222a and FM-078a Disclosure and Authorization to Obtain Consumer Report to ATS record
Schedule additional interviews, if required
Send electronic conditional offer of employment via ATS
Upon acceptance of job offer, issue Phase 2 of the employment application
Initiate background investigation from ATS to G4S Compliance & Investigations
Upon successful completion of required pre-screening elements, invite to hire process
Ensure new/re-hire is scheduled for training; send invite from ATS
The Ideal Candidate
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
Must possess a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a fast paced, detail oriented administrative or direct customer service role
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Effective oral and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
Attention to detail
Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
Physical Requirements and Environment
Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures
Major activity: Working on PC while sitting, telephone use
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Sitting, standing, bending, and limited stretching and reaching.
