Web/Backend Engineer Internship

Summary

You will work in one of our exciting Digital projects in Atlanta and will have an opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in the workings of an agile development team delivering projects to our business units. As an intern, you will have an experienced developer as a mentor who will guide you according to your interest areas and you will have a chance to contribute with tangible goal driven projects which may be part of a live project or may be a research project in your area of interest.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree program in Computer Science or engineering.

• Web or backend application development. coding knowledge or familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS

• Deep knowledge and understanding of algorithms and fundamentals of a programming language like javascript or java

• Experience in participating in Hackathons or school projects

• Contribution to an open source project or coding work available on github is a major plus.

• Academic credits taken towards web client development or cloud computing or server side programming is a plus

• Academic credits taken for Machine Learning or Pattern Recognition is a plus

• Passion and interest in the latest trends in technology and programming frameworks

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• GPA 3.0 and above
