Trading Assistant

The Trading Assistant will work on a specific index options market making trading desk in a New York office. While on the desk of Wolo Capital LLC , the individual will work closely with the traders, risk managers and quantitative personnel to support the ongoing trading activity of the group. The qualified candidate will learn trading concepts and option theory through interactions with the team of 10.

Responsibilities:
Sourcing information that may affect trading strategies

Analyzing potential trading opportunities and assessing potential risks

Performing statistical analysis on financial time series as requested

Reconciling trade differences

Conducting post trade performance analysis

Completing repetitive tasks in a multi-task environment with precision

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Economics or related fields are preferred

Proficiency with Excel/VBA and system applications strongly preferred

Proficiency in programming (C++ /C#) and statistical software a plus

Demonstrate a genuine aspiration to learn about the financial markets

Meticulous and detail oriented with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex problems that may occur before, during, and after the trading day
