Technical Support

The Technical Support associate is responsible for responding to assigned trouble tickets within established timeframes for Service Level Agreements and log service requests.

Respond to requests for support via work tickets in a timely manner

Communicate professionally with end-users to understand their support request

Provide end-user with realistic expectation for completing the work request

Upon completion of the work request, communicate final results with end-user

Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks on PC’s and printers

Maintain on-site computing resources via multi-site WAN

Work with Support Center to assess technical and training needs

Problem/resolution and root cause management.

Perform other assigned job related duties not defined above as assigned by supervisor.

Associate will be required to visit local properties as needed on a consistent basis, providing their own reliable transportation. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate.

Part of a regular on call rotation for weekend emergency coverage during business hours.

Qualifications

Education

College degree with major in Computer Science technical degree in related field preferred. IT Industry recognized certifications a plus.

Experience

Minimum of three years, hands-on experience in Information Technology field. Customer service oriented. Strong communication and time management skills. Work well independently.

Skills

The position requires the following knowledge:
Windows 7, and Windows 10

Active Directory and O365

MS Exchange/Outlook/Microsoft Office

Backup/Recovery

Cisco Meraki network administration

TCP/IP Networking skills

Property Management software experience a +

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Good stress management skills

Problem-solving skills

Self-motivated, goal-oriented and a team player

Attendance and Travel

This position is exempt from overtime and is regularly scheduled for 40 hours weekly, however, may entail working additional hours as needed in order to successfully complete all job related requirements. Travel is required when issues cannot be handled remotely as well as periodically for preventative maintenance

Licenses

A valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance
