Sr .NET Developer

Primary responsibilities include developing .NET applications, writing services to be consumed by web applications, and interfacing with third party data sources as well as Oracle.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and maintaining .NET applications, Web API/OData RESTful services
  • Assist with developing and maintaining HTML5 and Angular/AngualrJS web application
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Ensure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience developing in all aspect of a N-Tier application
  • 7+ years’ experience in .NET
  • Strong knowledge of .NET 4.5+ framework and C# language
  • Proficient in SQL (Oracle and SQL Server)
  • Proficient understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 web markup
  • Experience with AngularJS/Angular 2, TypeScript, and SASS
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive timelines set by clients.
  • Ability to work independently or minimal oversight and with a team on a project.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Financial services experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop enterprise Web or desktop applications using ASP.NET, MVC, C#, JavaScript based frameworks(JQuery/Knockout/Angular JS), HTML5, CSS3, XML, WCF, Rest, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server technologies (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS), .NET framework 4.0/4.5

2. Participate in the complete software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and TDD.

3. Create technical artifacts using MS Office, Visio and other modeling tools

4. Use and improve established software development frameworks, standards and processes while working on products

5. Ability to compare, contrast, and prioritize among alternative design approaches to meet architectural objectives.

6. Previous experience leading small to medium size ASP.NET/C# Development teams

7. Translate business and technical requirements into extensible, scalable and maintainable applications

8. Develop proofs of concept for potential new solutions leveraging our existing infrastructure and/or emerging technologies.

9. The applicant must be able to communicate effectively with developers, technical specialists, and non-technical staff members.

Required Skills:

1. 10 years of professional Software Development experience in a .NET environment.

2. Strong experience in designing and developing layered web based applications with backend as MS-SQL Server.

3. Strong experience in .NET 4.0 or higher, C#, VS 2010/2012/2015, ASP.NET MVC 4.0/5.0, WCF, REST, Web API 2.0, SQL 2010/2012, Entity Framework 6 and above , LINQ.

4. Strong experience in JavaScript based frameworks(JQuery/Knockout/Angular), HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON, 3rd party UI controls like Telerik and Kendo UI . Ability to work on Performance tuning of stored Procedures .

5. Strong Experience with Responsive Web Design (RWD) patterns.

6. Strong experience in identifying and implementing proper software design patterns based on the solution.

7. Prior experience working on projects using SRUM and TDD with minimal supervision and guidance.

8. Identify and understand the scope of functionality and suggest development solutions and design options.

9. Provide timely updates on tasks and meet internal and client deadlines with high quality deliverables.

10.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
