Sr Manager – Investment Mgmt – Consulting – Impact Investing

The Role

As a Senior Manager, you will apply your prior experience to provide leading consulting services to investment management clients. You will provide clients with effective analysis of impact investing efforts, produce solutions, implement client objectives, and manage the client relationship. You will utilize your solid network of investment professionals to source new deals.

Responsibilities will include:

Leading new market pursuit efforts.

Preparing and leading client meetings on social return projects related to the clients’ existing and potential impact investments.

Partnering with the client to understand various types of social return and identify impact investment planning opportunities.

Training, mentoring, and supervising new and experienced consultants, senior consultants, and managers, and participating in the staffing process for your group.

Performing high-level reviews of impact investment research and client rating systems.

Taking the lead client contact role on some engagements and working on the billing and profitability analysis of those engagements.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of consulting experience (at least 4 years in investment management) or related industry

Must share a passion for impact investing

Experience managing consulting teams and leading growth efforts

MBA or other appropriate certification (or in the process of pursuing)

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field

Advanced understanding of challenges and opportunities presented to financial institutions by impact and sustainable investing

Ability to utilize network of financial professionals to contribute to our growth

General understanding of the issues surrounding impact investing, key economic terms, and the 2030 SDGs

Experience managing projects including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing

The ability to travel up to 20%
