Sr. Mainframe Developer

ProKarma is currently seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team in Denver, CO! Qualified candidates must possess expertise in mainframe systems development as well as a background with COBOL, CICS, DB2 and VSAM.

Responsibilities

• Build enhancements using IBM Mainframe
• Maintain old codebase as well as work with development of new enhancements
• Oversee communication with stakeholders and communicate through the full software development lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 7+ years mainframe systems development experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Cobol, CICS, DB2, VSAM
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of onshore/offshore model
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
