Software Engineer – Front End

We are looking for a high performance individual to join our team and take responsibility for engineering our front end experience. It is already known as the best in the industry and with you working on it- well just imagine!

This is a full time position with primary focus on engineering the user experience built using React. You should be an incredible web developer who can produce beautiful, experiences but can also assure that these experiences are efficient and effectively making use of the rest of the Azuqua platform In short you should live and breathe the front end but also be very comfortable working across the full stack.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in software engineering role
• Comfort with asynchronous JavaScript in Node.js and the browser
• Experience with functional programming concepts
• Passion for software quality, customer experience, and simplicity in engineering
• Experience with TDD and Node.js testing frameworks e.g. mocha/chai
• Experience designing and extending generic data layer APIs on top of RDBMS’
• Ability to architect large single page apps in React
• Deep knowledge of communication protocols (HTTP/WebSockets/TCP)
• Comfort implementing server-side MVC in Node.js
• Ability to deeply and intelligently discuss high level design patterns
• No-SQL and AWS experience a definite plus
• Bachelors degree in computer science is required. A related Masters or PhD is a plus
