Senior Software Developer (Based in Austin)

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual to join our web development team as a full-time software engineer / developer.

About this Position:

• Your responsibilities would include developing new and maintaining existing APIs for both internal and external use, with a heavy emphasis on automated testing and stability.
• Available to work in our Austin, Texas office during regularly scheduled business hours (Monday-Friday / 9am-5pm)

Required Skills:

• Experience with microservice architecture best practices
• Solid PHP and MySQL dev skils
• Development in MVC frameworks (Laravel and Lumen a plus)
• Prolific troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Test-driven development
• Proven work as LAMP Developer
• Strong verbal and written fluency in English

Added Value

• Experience with API design, development and support tools such as Swagger, Apiary or Doxygen
• Able to leverage AWS services such as SNS, SQS and Lambda
• Redis / Memcache
• Mandrill, Slack, Stripe, Zapier, other common APIs all a plus
