Senior Financial Analyst

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for an immediate Direct Hire opportunity in Atlanta, Ga. The ideal candidate will assist in the development and execution of long range financial plans, including but not limited to the following: annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, monthly projections, analyzing financial and operational results.

Responsibilities

o Analyze current and past financial data and performance versus forecast and plan, investigate significant variances and communicate findings to management team

o Prepare clear, metric-based, financial plans/forecasts including monthly projections, annual budgets, long range plans, and related updates

o Ensure all reporting activities are accurate and prepared within established timelines

o Develop and maintain models and analyses to aid in the validation of existing forecasts

o Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts

Requirements

o Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required

o Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred

o 3-5 years’ experience; Proven quantitative and analytical ability

o E-Commerce or other Retail experience preferred

o Spreadsheet modeling in Excel, Database

o Knowledge of ERP systems or Financial Planning tools such as Adaptive, Host or IBM Analytics
