Scala / Java Engineer

Location: Boston, MA

Leading investment management firm is seeking a talented Java/Scala engineer to join a newly formed team. This small but collaborative team is building out a compliance engine from the ground up. If you are an expert Java/Scala Engineer interested in building a proprietary platform from the ground up then this is the job for you.

Skills and Experience:

• Software Engineer leader with a minimum of 5 years of software development
• Full stack core java development for multi-threaded transaction processing server applications
• Hands on experience with Java 8, Scala, Spring 4, Oracle SQL
• Experience in Web Service endpoints (ex. SOAP/REST)
• Ability to work within java development, deployment, and testing in Linux environments
• Previous experience mentoring and leading technical colleagues
• Asset Management experience preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively
