Job Summary

The Partner Sales Leader position is responsible for developing new business relationships across the Hospitality, Healthcare, Education and Leisure verticals through Foodbuy’s food, services, equipment and supply partner relationships within defined geographies throughout the United States. This position does not require relocation with a preferred location near a major airport on the Southwest, USA.

Responsibilities:
Identify and develop business relationships with distributor and service partner teams that sell into the Hospitality, Healthcare, Education and Leisure Industries that lead to long-term contracts for Foodbuy under one of several vertical specific platforms.

Assist distributor and service partners with the development of prospect target lists and new business pipelines to create an active sales funnel with goal of contracting directly with clients.

Educate and collaborate with key prospects and distributor partners to create winning business partnerships

Develop business proposals that clearly articulate the benefits and total value of Foodbuy, to each client

Implement and transition new clients to the Foodbuy Account Management and Client Services team

Understand the direct and indirect competitors in the territory and the total value offering they are presenting to the Hospitality, Healthcare, Education and Leisure verticals

Creates clear and concise written materials and presentations addressing prospective clients

Maximizes the impact of resources across several functions within Foodbuy, including Category Development, Strategic Sourcing and Distribution Services, as they relate to prospective Members

Achieves or exceeds new business targets set each quarter and year with the Sr. Director, Partner Sales

Utilize Foodbuy’s CRM to develop targets, manage sales process and capture key information and analytics for visibility to other stakeholders supporting Foodbuy’s Members.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, focus in Business preferred; significant related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

Minimum of 5+ years sales experience primarily selling to the Mid- Level and C-Level decision makers

Foodservice Distribution and/or Hospitality Services experience a plus

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications is required

Ability to travel within territory, 40%+ primarily prospective client locations and team meetings

A solid understanding of the financial, commercial, technological and social aspects of Group Purchasing Organizations and the competitive environment.

Strong communication and presentations skills

Strong customer/client relationship skills, both internally and externally

Strong negotiation skills-proven ability to engage others and handle interactions with individuals or groups to obtain commitment, compromise or settlement in a way that promotes win-win solutions and mutual goals or interests.
