Oracle EBS and Integrations Technical Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as an Oracle EBS Senior Oracle EBS and Integration technical lead. You will work with our Information Technology team reporting to Sr. Director, IT Enterprise Systems. This will be a hands on role working closely with IT technical team, business users and vendors supporting external systems. This is a very critical role to design, develop and support new or existing technical components and interfaces in EBS and other critical systems

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • As a technical lead for Oracle EBS and integrations, own and handle EBS technical design, development and testing activities
  • Work closely with the business teams to understand their problems and implement efficient solutions utilizing standard EBS functionalities wherever possible
  • Work with the business and functional team to gather requirements for extensions, reports and integration with EBS and external systems
  • Lead the technical teams on small to large projects Oracle EBS and other technologies
  • Develop functional and Technical design documents for all development components
  • Adhere to strong IT Governance and change control process for all system changes in a FDA regulated environment
  • Complete system configuration for Finance, Manufacturing and Supply chain modules of Oracle EBS as needed for any projects and enhancements
  • Design and develop integrations with other systems using SOA/Fusion and other middleware technology and Java
  • Provide ongoing support, monitoring and maintenance of deployed applications and integrations, working closely with internal teams, vendors and Oracle Support as needed.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, development and application hosting partner for EBS administration, security, periodic deployments and release management.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, information systems or other related field with at least 10 years of hands on experience in Oracle EBS 12.2.5 or above and Integration technologies.
  • Possess “can do” attitude to solve technical problems with Oracle EBS and integrations.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and development complex solutions using PL/SQL and SQL
  • Strong experience with developing extensions using Oracle Forms, OA Framework and Reports using BI Publisher
  • Well versed with the underlying database architecture, table structures and master data for key EBS modules in Process Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance functions
  • Extensive hands on experience with Order to Cash and Supply chain modules like Order Management, Shipping and Inventory and Manufacturing modules (experience with Oracle Process Manufacturing in a Pharmaceutical environment is preferred)
  • Good functional and technical knowledge of key finance modules like AR, AP, GL and Fixed Assets and Procure to Pay modules like iProcurement, Purchasing and approval management using AME and Workflow management
  • Experience in developing integrations using SOA middleware, Java and XML and exposure to tools like JDeveloper and Eclipse will be a plus
  • Good understanding and experience in handling secured data and file transfers using SFTP
  • Experience in integrating Oracle EBS with cloud based applications like Salesforce.com, Kinaxis Rapid Response and Workday
  • Experience in implementing EDI transactions with partners using Oracle B2B and XML gateway.
  • Good understanding of Oracle support process (SRs, escalation etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Work independently and also as a strong team player to deliver quality technology solutions. Be a quick and continuous learner and able to train other team members in SOA and other technologies.
