.NET Developer

What is the opportunity?

.NET Developer, working as a member of the NY team to develop and support a FI analytics application

Work with team members, business partners and various technology groups to deliver high quality products

Strive for continuous improvements of our processes, application designs and application execution

What will you do?

Code, test, debug, implement and support a complex application.

Analyze, debug and resolve production issues related including but not limited to application performance, system latency, infrastructure and network products

Provide development/L3 production support along with other team members

Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions

Proactively identify operational risks / control deficiencies in the business

Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities

Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis.

What do you need to succeed?

Bachelor’s Degree

Strong technical developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in .NET (C#), and SQL Server

Working knowledge of design patterns, data structures, functional algorithms, and multi-threading applications

Knowledge of version control systems like SVN and GitHub; build frameworks like Jenkins; and binary repositories like Sonatype Nexus

Quick learner with ability to pick up new technologies/skills and business knowledge

Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively

Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with exceptional communication skills required to interface with a highly engaged client group

Exposure to Fixed Income and/or mortgages business knowledge preferred
