Job Description:
Bank of America is looking to build out their testing capabilities in the Mobile Testing market at our Plano, TX, location.

The QA Analyst will work side by side with development and business partners to determine optimal test coverage and ensure high quality software is delivered to our customers. The analyst is expected to act as lead on the creation, maintenance and execution of test scripts, oversight of execution and defect management and other specialty testing activities in the areas of manual and automation testing, test environments, data conditioning and application specialties specific to Mobile.

  • Identifies and develops ways to improve the quality, capability, or efficiency of the testing process
  • Responsible for oversight of day-to-day testing activities of multiple releases supporting varying project scope.
  • Consults on estimations, impact assessment and risk assessment of development changes.
  • Manages the resource allocation and demand of large international QA team.

Required Skills: “Must” have these skills to be minimally qualified

1) Minimum 10 years of hands-on work experience in SDLC process with a focus on test planning, test execution and defect management.

2) Experience in building testing frameworks, tools and automation within a large scale enterprise environment using Selenium, TestNg, QTP and/or similar frameworks.

3) Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Hands-on working knowledge of QC, Mobile Device cloud, Selenium, Sonar, Jenkins
  • Thorough understanding of QA processes and procedures, with an aim towards continual improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-direct day-to-day activities and multitask effectively
  • Proven experience allocating resources to maximize each individual’s capacity to meet the project needs.
  • Strong experience working within an Agile testing environment.

Desired Skills:

  • BS degree in computer science, QA or engineering equivalent
  • High technical competence with current hands on coding skills and understanding of Java/J2EE, C++
  • Working knowledge of PDWare
  • Familiarity with bank systems and data conditioning
