Jr. Web UI Developer (New York City)

Our bar is high, but so are the results we achieve. As a Jr. Web UI Developer, you will be working with the latest JavaScript, Angular. Very strong experience and competencies with these technologies are required.

OUR IDEAL JR. WEB UI DEVELOPER WILL BE ADEPT AT:

• 3+ years experience of Web UI
• Javascript (vanilla and library based solutions)
• A minimum of 1 year experience with AngularJS (1.x). Angular (2/4/x) is a big plus
• Experienced in unit testing
• HTML5 (web components, new multimedia and semantic elements etc.)
• CSS3 (transitions and tools like LESS/SASS etc.)
• Representational State Transfer (REST, JSON).
• Experience in Mobile Web Development.

OUR IDEAL JR. WEB UI DEVELOPER WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN:

• Native or Web Mobile development.
• OO design and aware of the different layers that exist in a system
• Leveraging basic Data structures and algorithms to solve problems (I.e. Knows basic CS fundamentals)
• Cross browser development
• Responsive design
• Experience creating reusable UI components
• Experience writing, deploying and managing HTML5-based integrations for content or media management systems using REST APIs.
• Experience with Bootstrap, Foundation, LESS or SASS, and jQuery
• Experience working in an Agile environment helpful
• Experience with Git helpful Portfolio of work explaining your approach and problems solved
