Jr. Front End Web Developer

The Gemini 3 Group seeks a Jr. Front-End Web Developer to provide support to a valued client’s site on Microsoft SharePoint Online. The client’s main site is a central repository of knowledge and strategic planning for U.S. international media under the Broadcasting Board of Governors. Tasking will include Microsoft SharePoint development, Excel spreadsheet integration, and rending geolocations on maps.

Primary worksite location in Washington, DC with occasional work out of Stafford, VA

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Update the SharePoint intranet pages to reflect the new organization and mission.

Update existing pages in the SharePoint intranet to replace outdated content, correct formatting, and add new features.

Add and/or remove web parts as needed to make the pages a “one-stop shop” for information related to the customers efforts, country-by-country.

Add a world map to the home page for navigation to the country pages.

Add country maps on individual country pages, with data points mapped from Microsoft CRM web service end points using Microsoft Cloud authentication.

Add charts and visualizations using data maintained in Excel spreadsheets.

Work with management in gathering information architecture requirements for development of new database to include a user-friendly front end accessible to users both inside and outside the network, meets agency needs (USIM information display by region and by language service, intuitive user interface, ease of updating, flexible report generation) while being sustainable with existing resources internally on both the technical and content production fronts.

Develop training materials and technical documentation to allow non-technical staff to continue updates.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor Degree in computer science, communications, business or other related discipline

Experience developing front-end SharePoint web applications

Conversant in SharePoint Online, HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap

Experience with map views and rendering geolocation data

Expertise in Dynamics CRM development and API data end-point retrieval and authentication methods preferred
