Successful candidates will be working alongside a two-time IBM Information Management Champion who has presented internationally as their mentor. We are seeking a few entry-level Help-desk Associates to serve on our DevOps team. Ideal candidates for this position will be recent graduates looking to break into the IT industry, self-starters, critical thinkers, entrepreneurial learners, excellent team players and those that desire to grow personally and professionally with a quickly-growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking incoming support tickets to closure
  • Performing Level-One client support such as password resets and other simple tasks
  • Providing support to the technical department on all duties as required
  • Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • One to three years of troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to quickly learn new software in order to support
  • Great customer service skills
  • Basic networking experience (firewalls, security practices)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Engaged problem-solver who perseveres in challenges through to a swift resolution

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • One to two years experience experience using Linux
  • One to two years experience as user on administrating any IBM software
  • One to two years experience building or maintaining enterprise networks
