Full Stack Web Developer

Micron Technology is looking for experienced full stack Web Developers to work together with Data Scientists in providing innovative solutions for our research and development engineers around the world. Our teams work closely with our internal research and development teams to build tools that help Micron bring future memory products to market. We introduce new and innovative approaches to continuously improve build quality, speed, release delivery consistency, system scalability, and proactive monitoring for our global operations. As a core web platform team, we guide the Micron’s web platform stack for our open source community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance efficient solutions with a team focused on engineering needs.
• Bring ideas and develop concepts with success defined in terms of the team’s overall success.
• Refine our reference architecture framework to create applications that grow and scale with the needs of a global fortune 100 company.
• Design solutions for operations by building cutting edge telemetry and monitoring capabilities into systems to be able to predict future demands or bottlenecks.
• Work with research engineering teams who use our software to enhance the overall user experience.
• Build strong relationships and friendship with our business partners who use the solutions.
• Create, consume and maintain technology roadmaps focused on incremental changes required to keep our applications modern and cutting edge.
• Develop strategies and system designs that minimize service outages and impact of outages on business operations.
• Communicate and collaborate with global peer group to educate on and improve Micron’s software stack standards.

Qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience developing web applications with HTML 5 and CSS.
• Experience with a web framework such as Angular, React, Vue.js, etc.
• Experience using relational or NoSQL databases like MySQL and MongoDB.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize tasks on the fly.

Preferred:

• Languages: C#, JavaScript/Typescript, Java, C/C++, and Python
• Frameworks: Angular 2+
• Databases: MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic
• Web Servers: IIS, NodeJS, Apache
• Dev / Build: Git, Jenkins
• Virtualization: Docker, VirtualBox and Vagrant
